I have not found many sites that go beyond the basics of Swift 3D such as mine (www.kirupa.com/developer/...ndex.htm). (http://www.kirupa.com/developer/swift/index.htm).) Article says "On June 12, 2008, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) informed the American Immigration Lawyers Association that the H-1B random selection process has been completed. USCIS completed the intake and receipt processes for all filings as of May 24, 2008 and began mailing rejection notices the week of June 9. Therefore, if an employer has not yet received a filing confirmation (Form I-797C Notice of Action), it likely means that the petition was not selected in the random process and that the rejection notice will be forthcoming."

With predictions that the H1B cap will be reached any day now, employers and employees are rushing to beat the cap. United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced that, as of December 4th, it had received approximately 61,100 H-1B petitions counting toward the congressionally-mandated 65,000 limit. Additionally, USCIS has approved sufficient H-1B petitions for foreign nationals with advanced degrees to meet the exemption of 20,000 from the fiscal year 2010 cap. Any H-1B petition filed on behalf of a foreign national with an advanced degree will now count toward the general H-1B cap of 65,000.
So why are they still accepting cases? Well not all filed H1B petitions will be approved so the final count will not be known until USCIS will clear all denials. We will keep you posted.

Hi All,
I am applying my Labor on EB2 tomorrow (07/26/2007). Is there any glim chacne for me to get the approval before 08/14/2007? I am going through Atlanta. Please let me know how long is the average time to get the cetification from atlanta center. (One of my friend applied on 07/17/07 and got the LC on 07/23/07 from atlanta center).

You could take a look at Track it. It will give you an idea of Atlanta backlogs . You could have a very good chance at Chicago though . Your friend was one in a million lucky and you could be one too .

Hi I am going to india on july and I need to get my h1 visa stamped as the previous one expired and at the same time my wife needs to get her h4 visa stamped
now when i return back i am planning to bring my parents on short trip
my question
1.Is it possible to book appoinments for h1,h4,b1 at one shot (one day)
2. Will there be any issue if we go in group in combination of many visa

yes we came back on new year and flight was very good, nice food and staff was really cooperative. At POE it took us 2 min to get out of immigration and custom check. Officers were polite and nice. We both used AP and no questions were asked. I would highly recommond this flight.

The Governor has filed her response to the motion argued in court today to delay the implementation of Arizona's SB1070 law on July 24th. Reader USC has discussed some of the arguments in the comments. HI..
My grand father and grand mother are trying to apply for visitor visa.. my grand father is a retired govt employee and grand mom is home maker.. my grandfather is coming on their own and we are not sponsoring them..he will be able to submit tax returns as he runs small business and owns 1 apartment and few lands my questions are:
1.what are the documents should he take for visa ?
2.how much of bank balance? (they say 6 months of bank statements is necessary)
3.cant he just say he's retired and take the asset evaluation and bank statements alone?
please help ...

When I got back from overseas travel this time, at San Francisco, the Customs person took both my AP's and stamped one and gave it back to me and kept the other with him.
I remember previously when I had two AP's one was stamped and the other was returned unstamped.
My AP was multiple entry both times.
I need top travel again next month. Any idea if I can travel on my current stamped AP or there is a problem.

As of 23 September 2006, we have received less than 15 questions in preparation for the next call. This does not meet the critical mass of 20-25 questions for justifying a conference call.
Please follow process listed in the thread http://immigrationvoice.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1267 for us to consider your questions.
Also, please spread the word around.
I am attaching a flyer for your convenience. You could request your friendly neighborhood ethnic grocer (Indian/Mexican/Chinese/Filipino and others) or video rental store, religious gathering or communal gathering place to carry these flyers in a prominent location. (You'll be surprised at the positive response you will get from such businesses- I had my reservations at first, but when I approached a temple sometime back, the temple officer appreciated the efforts made by us for such a "great cause"- his own words).
NOTE: Flyer will be available after file upload/download problems are resolved.

Not surprising, but surprising that Luis would admit it. And if this is the case (and I think it is), then the question is whether we wait until 2011 or later to push again or finally decide it's time to look at other strategies like piecemeal reform (pass DREAM, AgJobs, legal immigration reform now and deal with legalization later) or look at administrative actions like TPS or parole and a moratorium on deportations for people who would otherwise meet the requirements of a proposed legalization program.
